Since our foundation in 2006 as a university spin-off of the Chair of Measurement Technology at Saarland University, we have focused on developing technologies with which we can analyze and control gases in a wide variety of environments.

Our product portfolio has developed over time on this basis. We still strive every day to help our customers find solutions to current challenges. We are proud of our engineering expertise in the field of measurement technology, electronics and software development as well as our innovative spirit.

3S Technologies GmbH emerged as a new company from 3S - Sensors, Signal Processing, Systems GmbH on October 01, 2024. The new company has therefore only been in existence for less than a year.

Depending on your specifications or requirements, our engineers can provide you with compact or large systems as well as stationary or mobile GMAs (e.g. for carrying out recalibrations during servicing).

Fully automated solutions are possible (self-monitoring, sequence control, result calculation). Standard solutions as well as customized hardware and special modules.

We also offer you a comprehensive selection of control units / software for gas mixing systems, e.g. for connecting various MFCs, MFMs, sensors and actuators and for creating dynamic profiles (mixing ratio, concentration, pressure, flow rate, temperature, humidity).

Our data platform has been specially developed for users of 3S Technologies devices and enables you to manage your analysis and master data easily and efficiently.

Data is transmitted to a backend server via mobile radio, WLAN or Ethernet, where it is aggregated and processed. The information obtained is available in real time and can be accessed via a dashboard or interface to third-party systems.

A new, clear graphical user interface, comprehensive data analysis tools and fast reporting options give you more control over your data. The software simplifies the complex task of data analysis and master data management for your company.

Standard-Gasmischer oder individualisierte Gasmischanlagen mit bis zu 10 Gaslininen

Mixing gases yourself offers many advantages. Many gas mixtures for industrial applications are already available on the market as ready-mixed gases. However, mixed gas can also be produced individually - with the help of mechanical and electronic gas mixers. The advantages are obvious - consistent quality, high flexibility and lower costs thanks to demand-based mixing instead of using a large number of bottled gas mixtures.

Installation einer Gasmischanlage beim eco-INSTITUT

Gasmischanlage

Wir haben erfolgreich eine Gasmischanlage (GMA) beim eco-INSTITUT Germany GmbH installiert und in Betrieb genommen.

Diese Anlage spielt eine zentrale Rolle bei der Prüfung von VOC-Detektoren, die nach der aktuellen Überarbeitung der VDI-Richtlinie 3518 Blatt 4 entwickelt werden. Unsere GMA gewährleistet höchste Präzision und Zuverlässigkeit, was entscheidend ist um sicherzustellen, dass die VOC-Detektoren den strengen Standards entsprechen und eine zuverlässige Innenraumluftqualitätsmessung ermöglichen.

Was macht unsere Gasmischanlage besonders? Sie bietet flexible Anpassungsmöglichkeiten und eine hohe Genauigkeit bei der Erstellung standardisierter Prüfgase – ein Muss für moderne Prüfprozesse. Wir sind stolz darauf, das eco-INSTITUT bei diesem wichtigen Projekt zu unterstützen und freuen uns darauf, auch in Zukunft gemeinsam mit unseren Kunden innovative Lösungen zu realisieren.

Installation of a gas mixing system at eco-INSTITUT

Gasmischanlage

We have successfully installed and commissioned a gas mixing plant (GMA) at eco-INSTITUT Germany GmbH.

This system plays a central role in the testing of VOC detectors, which are developed according to the current revision of VDI guideline 3518 sheet 4. Our GMA ensures the highest precision and reliability, which is crucial to ensure that the VOC detectors meet the stringent standards and provide reliable indoor air quality measurement.

What makes our gas mixing system special? It offers flexible customization options and high accuracy in the creation of standardized test gases - a must for modern testing processes. We are proud to support eco-INSTITUT in this important project and look forward to continuing to implement innovative solutions together with our customers in the future.
